Art Journaling Mixed Media

Hello lovelies! Here today with my first "just because" share in a LONG time~ as well as
a video tutorial too :) I wanted to try my hand at art journaling! However this ended up being so bulky
i have to restrategize Lol. Maybe art journals are not for me! Its impossible for me to do "flat."
Anyways it was a blast to create nonetheless! And this is the result! I did this for the Prima Marketing PPP this month. I love browns so it was perfect for me to try! Hope you all like it, and enjoy the video.
Big hugs!

I wanted to create a simple whimsical dress! No fuss, just easy and fun.
I used a variety of inks, sprays, watercolors, acrylics. Anything I had that was the
color scheme I wanted.

Well thats all for me! Hugs~!

Altered Sailboat for Graphic 45

Hello lovelies! Back today to share my latest project for G45. I had a blast creating this little sailboat using the Come Away With Me collection and a smidge of By The Sea.
I have had this wooden sailboat in my stash for quite some time. All I did was trace the map shape out of the fabric sails that were already on it. Easy peezy. Hope you like what I have created :)
And more importantly you MUST go check out the blog HERE  to see Nichola's AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING
sky zeppelin ! I am in AWE of her creation. She is my crafty muse. I tell her all the time what a huge crush i have on her hehe! She truly is just phenomenal!

The propeller is an Ingvild Bolme junkyard finding.
I also fussy cut the globe out of the paper line, so my lady captain could know where she was going of course.
I used a spool to make the chain holder for the anchor. The anchor is just cut out of the By The Sea paper.
In the net I have resin starfish and a crab.
I made a steering wheel (is that the same name on a boat? LOL) for her out of a Staples
metal key and an Ingvild Bolme junkyard finding. And she is of course the captain of this boat!
The resin sea horse on the front of the boat (by Ingvild Bolme) was actually my honey's idea! He sanded it down to size for me too! HE's a genius :) And the port opening (Ingvild Bolme) has the man working down below !
I loved making these sails out of the Come Away with Me paper! So fun!

Halloween Terrarium Graphic 45 and Petaloo bloghop

Hey everyone, here today to share my project for the blog hop going on now with Graphic 45 and Petaloo
There are some AMAZING prizes up for grabs so make sure you are following
both blogs :) Both teams have just made the most brilliant projects! So inspiring!
I hope you all will like my contribution as well. I created this little terrarium using lots of Petaloo flowers and 3 different G45 paper ranges.  I have a Snapguide on easy 3d mushrooms if you are interested :)

I pulled out chippies from various companies and painted them all metallic.

The Petaloo flowers are so beautiful!!!!!! Look at the colors! The Botanica collection is def my fave!
I tore apart one of the Petaloo flowers to have the petals flowing down the side of the glass, as well as the chippie dandelion piece.

An Eerie Tale Altered Typewriter

Hey everyone! Here today to share my latest project for Graphic 45 using my FAVE An Eerie Tale!
I really love this little typewriter! I'm always scouring for things to alter, some are easy , this one was a bit harder. There were a lot of uneven surfaces i had to sand to be able to cover with paper. That usually the first question I ask when I see something that I want to alter, "Can I cover it with paper?" And as long as I can, its alterable to me Lol. No matter what it is. Anyways I did lots of fussy cutting and just had a blast making this one! I really hope you all like it, make sure to check out the Graphic 45 blog for Jane's amazing work as well today! Hugs!
