Imaginarium Designs DT Work! My first post yay!

Hey everyone, its Miranda here , and i am so excited to share my first post with you all !
I have 3 projects this month, and let me tell ya, I had a blast working with these chippies! First up is my bubblegum machine! I went for the steampunk pretty theme Lol. Loads of gears but still very feminine! i used romance novel paper with it, and lots of metals.
I used a ton of Imganiarium gears, and lots of the new metals from Finnabair. perfect match in my opinion!

I wanted the inside to look very mechanical.

I painted all of the gears either gray or pink. The pink ones i stamped with white ink a script stamp. And the gray ones i stamped in black. I also painted a few in white and added crystals to the center. I distressed up the edges as well. I did the same technique to the Steampunk clock piece. All of the letters have been painted in white and distressed with black soot on the edges. I cut the "time" out from the phrases chippie and painted it white and inked the edges. I added a metal numeral in place of the "I".

My second project is an altered box. I had so much funnnn with this box. i used the Almanac paper from Prima with this one.
On the border piece and the phrase piece, I painted them with Powder Puff Pearlz then put tiny metallic beads all over before heat setting it, lots of texture and it glued the beads in place.
I painted the thistles with gesso , then sprayed them with various colors of shimmerz mists. Inked them up with black soot to finish them off.
For the piece at the bottom i just misted it with some dark sprays and put liquid pearls on certain spots, finished it off by tying a bow with some thread.

the corner pieces were colored with gray paint and liquid pearls were added to center. The gears were just sprayed with dark shimmerz mists.

And last up i created a shabby mixed media canvas. Lots of fun techniques and textures, and the peacock feather IS AMAZING! Def one of my faves :)
For the peacock feather, i first gessoed it. Then i painted it with Frosty's got the bluez shimmerz, and on the edges i painted it with snow storm shimmerz. I heat set these so it would "bubble" up. i also highlighted certain areas with more gesso. i love this feather!
I cut the phrase apart and painted it all with pink acrylic paint. Then i sprayed it with a dark mist in certain areas. I let it dry naturally so it would be "spotty" then I adhered liquid pearls throughout the phrase.
The corner pieces were painted with snow storm shimmerz as well, and little blings added to the center.

Thank you so much for viewing :) You can see more of my work at my blog. Hugs!
