Altered Sailboat for Graphic 45

Hello lovelies! Back today to share my latest project for G45. I had a blast creating this little sailboat using the Come Away With Me collection and a smidge of By The Sea.
I have had this wooden sailboat in my stash for quite some time. All I did was trace the map shape out of the fabric sails that were already on it. Easy peezy. Hope you like what I have created :)
And more importantly you MUST go check out the blog HERE  to see Nichola's AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING
sky zeppelin ! I am in AWE of her creation. She is my crafty muse. I tell her all the time what a huge crush i have on her hehe! She truly is just phenomenal!

The propeller is an Ingvild Bolme junkyard finding.
I also fussy cut the globe out of the paper line, so my lady captain could know where she was going of course.
I used a spool to make the chain holder for the anchor. The anchor is just cut out of the By The Sea paper.
In the net I have resin starfish and a crab.
I made a steering wheel (is that the same name on a boat? LOL) for her out of a Staples
metal key and an Ingvild Bolme junkyard finding. And she is of course the captain of this boat!
The resin sea horse on the front of the boat (by Ingvild Bolme) was actually my honey's idea! He sanded it down to size for me too! HE's a genius :) And the port opening (Ingvild Bolme) has the man working down below !
I loved making these sails out of the Come Away with Me paper! So fun!
