Steampunk Goggles

Hello creative friends! I am almost caught up on posts! Phew!
I can't believe I forgot to share my Steampunk Goggles created over a month ago!
This is one of my all time fave projects! They were really fun to create and just play around
with different ideas! I used a ton of Prima goodies to create them of course, and my precious
alcohol inks :) Full supply list at the bottom!

I hope you all like them as much as I do! Huge hugs and have a beautiful weekend :)

So many fun techniques went into this! Hard to keep track! I used the amazing Patina Rust Paste!
Makes everything look so worn and pretty! Add a bit of alcohol ink on top and it's perfection.
The Memory Hardware range came in really handy! Perfect pieces for these!
I looked at a bunch of real Steampunk Style goggles and just followed suit with that theme.

All of the gears and clocks and everything still move and swivel :)

Wild and Free Heart Mini

Still playing Catch up on projects! Going through and seeing what hasn't been
shared here on my blog with all of you :)

This was a project I created a few months ago. A super simple little mini album
that hangs. I used the Wild and Free Collection from Prima and really enjoyed
creating a mini album for once! Keeping it simple was the key!

I hope you all like it! Supply List in the bottom :)
HUge hugs and thank you for stopping by!

Lots of fussy cutting went into this, the paper is just so gorgeous! For any season. It's one of those
staples I will always use! I gathered some twigs from my yard to add to the cover as well,
just a fun whimsical touch.
I used ribbon to attach each piece together, the front and back of each side is decorated.
The heart was an ornament and hangs which is really fun!
I hope you all like it! xoxo

Queen of the World Globe for Art Venture

Hello loves! Before I bombard you with photos from the event and meeting so many amazing people
in Phoenix for Art Venture I wanted to show you what my class project was :)
We created this Queen of the World altered globe using a ton of mixed
media techniques! It's always amazing to see how other people interpret your idea
and make it their own! I'll share pix soon!

A full supply list is at the bottom! Huge hugs everyone!

We created our continents by using buttons and sequins. It was really whimsical.
Of course I adorned them with lots of splatters and metals!
Every queen needs a crown! And this was so easy to do!
A bit of a detail shot to show just how cool those continents look!
I hope you all like "her" :)
