Mixed Media Art Canvas

Hello everyone :) It's pretty rare when I find myself able to 

create freely for no particular reason. I know a lot of you do amazing art journals! I 

really am no good at that, because I make everything too bulky. So 

whenever I get a chance I create a little art canvas, and it's my equivalent of the journal.

This was seriously just me adding textures and playing around with my Shimmerz. 

I wasn't going to even share it, but decided to anyways. I used TONS of Shimmerz. 

Just playing with texturez and all that fun stuff. Anyways hope you all like it!

Live With Prima tonight

Hello amazing people! I am sooooooo excited to announce my first Ustream tonight

 on Live With Prima~!!!!! I am still not believing I am a part of this dynamic 

and insanely talented crew! I don't know that I am deserving of a spot, but I will 

take it LOL! So for my first show tonight at 8:30 my time ( central ) 6:30pm PT/ 9:30pm ET.

I will be creating the project seen below using the new Archivist collection and tons of other goodies!

Altered Reindeer Mixed Media for Graphic 45

Hello lovely crafters :)  Back with my latest project for Graphic 45.

I cannot believe it has almost been 2 years aboard this dream team! Only a 

couple more months left and I must say I will deeply miss being on this incredible 

team! For those of you considering trying out, DO IT! Do not doubt yourself!

Just go for it! you never know , unless you DO! You would be hard pressed

 to find a better company to be apart of! They are so kind to us all! And as for

the incomparable Joanna Hardy ( she helps us with EVERYTHING, and you read

her posts every day on the blog), she is just amazing! For me, she has been 

such a support and amazing friend! 

Well enough about that! Onto the project lol! I found this little gal

at Michaels, and she was begging to be all jazzed up! Once again the washi

tape came to the rescue. Have I ever told you that i never used washi tape until 

G45 made theirs? It's true! When you are wanting to alter something

 that  has a ton of curves , you can't really use paper. Their washi tape is perfect! 

And has great tack to it, add a coat of gel medium on top and it isn't going 

anywhere! I hope you all like her! MAke sure to check out the blog for

G45 Precious Memories Mixed Media Album

Hello lovelies! I will start this post out with a disclaimer .... LOL!

I am not a mini album maker! For those of you who rock them out, I bow down to you!

You all are amazing! They are so HARD for me to do! 

I was assigned to do one for CHA though, using the gorgeous Precious Memories

collection, along with the new albums Graphic 45 is making! Now this did make the job

quite a bit less daunting! Having good materials eased the pain lol! So this

Altered Phone Mixed Media Shimmerz DT

Hello lovely crafters! Back today with a share for SHIMMERZ! Ohhh, How I love

my Shimmerz! Especially the Inklingz and Creameez! I love sprays, don't 

 get me wrong. But with the Inklingz you have so much more control over where you

place your color. I def enjoy that! Takes the fear out of using color. Did you know if you mention

along with your order? Pretty sweet deal! The colors I used this month are based on the 

Prima Marketing PPP. Beautiful palette!!!! Love it so much! I used my new favorite range Epiphany!

This phone was black to begin with, follow along with the tutorial if you would like

 and see how I altered this piece. I had fun with it, which is the most important thing to me

, I have to ENJOY creating , or otherwise I won't do it.

Mixed Media Dreamcatcher for Wild Orchid Crafts

Hello lovely people ! Here today with another share for WOC! I LOVE to make 

dreamcatchers! if you follow my work you will know that. I usually go ALL OUT with the embellishing and paper feathers, the whole nine. For this one though, i wanted to keep it more earthy, with mixed

media of course lol. I've always wanted to make a wreath, but heck if i know how to 

do one of those Lol. Had this one for a long time, finally decided to create with it! I LOVE the Wild Orchid Crafts flowers! They take the media so well! I pretty much go over EVERYTHING with clear gesso. 

That preps it for everything I want to add. Hope you like it! I have a video tutorial to follow along. I skipped the actual part where I did the dream catcher weave, because I have done 2 other videos on that. So just check out this video to see that if you are interested. Altered Bee Canvas for Shimmerz

Hello lovely people! I am here with a share for Shimmerz, it has been a long time since 

I said that! Feels so good to be back on board! I had a BLAST creating this canvas! 

One thing I LOVE about designing for Shimmerz is Stacey gives us creative freedom!

Just lets us do "our thing" and i LOVE her for it! So i had bought this bee and wanted to 

sparkle him up! The Shimmerz Inklingz was perfect! Along with some Texturez and Sprays of course!
