Graphic 45 Couture Spool Card

Couture brings out the prettier side of me, and makes me want to create clothes! Even makes me think I can sew some together lol! I wanted to do a nontraditional card! So I just traced out a sketch of a sewing spool and used that as my template. Very easy to do, and besides some lace for the spool , I used all Graphic 45 on this card! I always find I use such minimal other embellies when working with my G45! They provide you with everything you need!

Prima/Ingvild Bolme Blog Hop

Hello lovely ladies! Here today to share my project for our  monthly hop with the Prima blog.

I decided to go on a Easter kick, mixed media style! I had honey create me this metal basket ( he's always SO HELPFUL! <3 HIM ). The eggs are little Styrofoam ones from my work (Michaels) , and I treated each one differently. I used TONS of chalk edgers. The colors are so amazing! I even did a crackle paint technique using them (tutorial coming soon). Ingvild's junkyard findings line were perfect for the industrial Easter look I wanted. Hope you all like! National Crafts Month Spring Pinwheels for Graphic 45

Hey everyone. Have you been following the blog for National Craft Month? TONS of inspiration!

Graphic 45 Design Team 2014 Audition

 

Bumm Bumm! Bumm Bumm! Do you hear that? Its the sound of my heart jumping out of my chest as I type this! Being a part of the Graphic 45 Team this year has been indescribable!  A honest to goodness DREAM COME TRUE! I'll never ever forget seeing my name on that list last year! And what a whirlwind it has been! I cannot believe a year has passed already! Going through my pix to find the ones to submit was a journey back through the most amazing year in my scrappy life! Thank you so much G45 family for making this such an awe inspiring year for me! And for my fellow DT members, I <3 you all! We've all grown so close! I have to admit I am nervous beyond measure about this new DT call. I'm so excited at the same time, but more nervous than anything. Aren't we all so critical of ourselves? Did I make them proud? Did I do a good job? All these questions whirl through my mind, and that self doubt kicks in! Fingers, toes, eyes, everything crossed that they believe in me enough to keep me on!

So without any more rambling, here are some of my favorite projects I have created this year as part of this inspiring team! And let me tell you how HARD it was to narrow it down! So please excuse the massive amount of projects! I seriously couldn't narrow it down anymore Lol! The first 2 are brand new just for this tryout. There are some ones that haven't been shown yet that I couldn't share either. It was HARD  Lol!

Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Coffee Grinder

I found this old timey coffee grinder in a thrift shop awhile back. I knew G45 paper was in order, but wasn’t sure which line. Then ….. BEHOLD…. Botanical Tea!  Swoon! I just can’t stop using this one! It very well may be….my favorite line to date! There , I said it :)

Anyways I crackle painted the top rounded bowl grinder. The rest was covered with paper! Add some spanish moss to the top and decorate your nest however you want! I had a start to finish on this, unfortunately the video file was 'corrupted.' If you have any questions , I’d be glad to help :)

Sweet Sentiments Valentines Chocolate Box

Hey lovely ladies!!! Here with a Vday project! While browsing the selection of heart boxes for V-day, I came across a box covered in ruffled velvet! I knew I had to mimic it! Paper is very easy to manipulate, and doing these crinkly effects are around a lot lately! Wasn't sure if I could manage doing it in this fashion, but it worked very easily!
