Rose Quartz Altered Box and Tutorial

Hello my lovely creative friends!!!!!! Back with another altered project! 

The Rose Quartz Collection from Prima is definitely an all time fave! 

It's just so pretty! I grabbed a plain paper mache box from Michaels, and altered it

using the paper and some gorgeous blooms. I have a full tutorial on it HERE, if anyone

wants to see how it was created :) I hope you like my project and are inspired

to upcycle a box you have laying around! Always fun to do , and

Art Journal Cover Mixed Media

Hello my loves! I can finally share the last of my art journal! The cover!

I kept it pretty simple! It's quite small of course, and I just wanted the paint to 

be front stage on this since it would be displayed at the Summer Mixed Media

Show for Prima. I really hope you liked my journal! Next time I will have more 

of it filmed and on a larger scale! 

I tried some new techniques on here, including more work with laces and fabric. 

I LOVE using it now! And for the spine i die cut a ton of leaves, stiffened them 

with matte gel, and adhered them in a layered look kind of like scales. Not sure if
it was what i had in mind, but like i said, experimenting is half the fun! 

I did a lot of dabbing the paint, then spritzing with water and letting it "do it's thing."

Trying to let go of control!

Art Journal Page "Future Dreams"

Hello blogging friends :) back to share my last page in my tiny album! Tomorrow will be the cover! Which i did last! yayyy! This has truly been super fun, and 

a great way to try new techniques, use up scraps, and learn most importantly! 

next time i promise to film more of the process! 

So this is my last page!

You can see the peekaboo to the other page. I didn't add any paper this time, except the quote!
I just did stamping! Lots of stamping and coloring with my paints and some inks,

but mostly the new Art Alchemy paints which were so FUN!
i just used a waterbrush to color the circles then spritzed with water to get more of 

a watercolor/painterly/messy look lol.
