LOVE IN BLOOM-Spring

Hidden Journaling behind pictures.
Hey everyone! So I have been challenging myself this week to do
layouts! They have always intimidated me, but
I absolutely love them and find them incredibly inspiring!
And i feel there is no better way to capture a memory!
Like these pictures. THese were taken last spring in TN after my
papaw passed away. I was so incredibly down, but my honey
always finds a way to cheer me up and make me see the bright
side of things! After leaving the cemetary we stopped by my sisters house, it
was a cold spring day in TN and i was just in a rut. He
got on the trampoline and pulled me up and we jumped around for the longest
time! He snapped me out of me negative outlook and i started
seeing the world in a brighter way. Simple moment, but it has stuck with me!
So i called this layout "love in bloom." In spring time things bloom and come to life
and this is what our love does to me! I hope you like it, be gentle!
I'm a layout newbie Lol!
Here are some close ups!
Hard to tell from one picture, but this layout is super dimensional!
i cut an X into the paper and curled back all of the edges to create a little niche
The sketch had a fence so i created one out of grungeboard, and stamped part of
my title on it...."love"
The banner has the "bloom" on it, and there is a little scrabble tile with the "N"
This shows the dimension a little more, and there is a hidden journaling tag, that
tells the story of this spring day You can see the top of it here it says "remember"
i love to hang pearls as a banner!
And these new prima flowers are just so pretty, i did some fussy cutting as well
for lots of flowers blooming!
I had to add a dark edge to this layout in places, because it was a sad moment,
even though my spirits were lifted back up. The black kind of represents a "shadow" if you will.
this shows some of the texture the empty spaces have. i don't like things flat Lol! i added old dictionary paper and lots of masking and spraying. The paper is websters pages, along with prima tea thyme.
