OUAS Layout- Mixed Media "Precious New Moments"

 

Hey lovely ladies :) Well i did another layout!!! woohooo Lol. And i have to say, i really had fun with this one! i spent a LOT of time on the background. I really wanted to do lots of texture and technique. The base paper is Websters Pages and i layered different colors of tissue paper, some blue , some pink, some cream with script on them. I used gel medium and just layered it all over the paper. After it was dry i misted like crazy! I used very subtle mists though :) Let it dry over night and ironed it back flat (boy it was warped Lol) and then added my masking on top. the pix just don't do justice to the depth and texture on there.

I also printed out my pictures on transparency film, then backed them on script paper so it showed through :) I used lots of yummy Imaginarium Chipboard pieces! Being on their DT is a dream come true! So yeah, thats about it Lol :) I also added lots of hints of metal in there to break up the girliness a bit :) Nuts and screws and bolts. Stuff you wouldn't expect to find.

The them this month at Once Upon A Sketch this month was "the start of something new"

New year.... new memories :) Nadia's sketch is amazing as always. I really had fun, hope you all like my layout :)

Oh yes those are the new Finnabair metals ! i got lucky and won some from Prima :)

 I really am into doing my pictures on transparency right now! Kind of hard to make work, but def worth it i think. I used Prima paper under them.

 Can you see the screws, nuts, and bolts peekign out here and there?

Prima BAP Layouts for Discount Paper Crafts

Hey everyone, so i have done some layouts! yay!!!!! I don't know what has gotten into me, but i am really starting to love bright colors! i never thought i would use yellow or green! now i love it!My tastes are always changing! I did these layouts for the Prima BAP challenges, and used tons of goodies from  Discount Paper Crafts. I love working with Cathie! She always gives me creative freedom! I will list all of the items i used down below, also the DPC Designers Challenge is gearing up and almost ready! I will announce my team later this weekend! Let the games begin! 

So first up is the layotu i created for the December BAP. It had a chevron pattern and i decided to use a lace up pattern instead.

Altered "LOVE" letters

Hey everyone, I'm here with a project for Discount Paper Crafts Etsy store. I altered these paper mache letters, and let me tell you I had so much fun! Lots of fun techniques and metal! This will be picture heavy Lol, also will be doing a couple tuts on certain parts of this. Hope you all like it, and at the bottom of the post i will have product description with links back to Cathie's store. Hugs!

 I  used hot glue and tons of shimmerz products to create the background of the "L"

I used metal foil tape on the "O" and stamped a gorgeous lady image on acetate for the center of the O. 

 The "V" is totally inspired by Finnabair! obviously Lol!

 On the "E" i used hot glue to create the pattern i wanted then covered it with metal foil tape. I will be doing a tutorial on this!

Grunge Book Stack - Iamroses

Hey lovely ladies! Here today to share a special project, that I had created for my honey on Christmas! Of course i had to go grunge for his gift, but that girly part of me had to add some Iamroses goodness Lol. I don't think i went to craaaaazy with the IAR though.
